One thing we cannot do
We cannot recover your backup if you lose both your password and your recovery key. Anything synced through an account is encrypted with a key we never hold, which is the point — but it means there is no reset we can perform. Keep the recovery key somewhere safe. What is on your phone is unaffected either way.
